One of the tallest buildings in Gdansk, the Mercure Hevelius Hotel is a 19-storey modern property with a pale yellow exterior. The views from its upper floors extend to the picturesque Old Town or the famous Shipyards. The interior is slightly dated but welcoming enough. The 281 medium sized guestrooms feature neutral décor, complemented by light wood furnishings and fitted carpets. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The U Heveliusa restaurant serves both regional and European cuisine, while the hotel bar offers piped music and a large-screen TV for watching sports.
